A useful report starts with context.
- Beam Reach version and build number
- iPhone or Android model and operating-system version
- What you expected, what happened, and repeatable steps
- A screenshot with private coordinates or voyage details removed
Safety boundary
Beam Reach is an advisory sailing utility, not emergency or navigation-grade equipment. This form is not monitored as an emergency channel. Support is handled on a best-effort basis during U.S. business days, with no guaranteed response time.
Local data first
Protect your records before troubleshooting.
If the app still opens, use Settings → Privacy and Local Data to export supported records before erasing app data, uninstalling, or moving to a clean-install candidate.
Beam Reach does not provide cross-sandbox migration. Offline chart files are not included in the JSON export and must be downloaded again when needed.
